Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to direct, act, produce, write plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the child of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of productions as a young girl as well as watching her mother doing her job. When she was a kid, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in the fall of 1999 in order to continue her acting career. Then, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at a Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December that year and then renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo's sex-based romance with Lauren was highlighted in the top television Couples ever and named Top TV Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's fame on social media grew as a result of the show.
